Fun weekend so far!!

Jeff and I had a lot of fun Friday and today. Friday night we went out for a dinner. Nothing to exciting, just some grilled cheese. For some reason grilled cheese on sourdough bread is a wonderful comfort food. I was good and had a salad as a side. Jeff was very sweet and bought me some new clothes at Old Navy. They were having an amazing sale. I needed some more shorts and a few tank tops. It seems to be getting hotter and hotter lately. Not because it is summer time, but every year it feels as if the sun is baking us. I ended up getting this amazing multicolored blue light weight top. I am probably going to wear it on our drive to Vegas in August. As some of you know, I am looking into a new Kindle. Since my old Kindle is not working very well and is out dated. So I asked for suggestions and I think I am going to get a Kindle Fire HD. The only downside is that there is not a camera on it. Other then that, it s a perfect fit. Plus I really want to get some cute covers for it. I have a thing about cute covers. I got myself two new phone covers. One is dark blue with some pretty metalic flowers. The other is a pretty pink with white vines.  I of course had to stop by Barnes and Nobel. I ended up getting two more books and a cute tiny book light to attach to my books. So hopefully I can read at night and not wake Jeff up. He needs his sleep or else he is very grumpy.  Jeff and I will probably just relax tomorrow. I forgot to mention, we went to Downtown Disney today. We wanted to say goodbye to Tom one of our favorite Disney Employee's. He was retiring and today was his last day. We did not get to see him. The good news is that we got to see him last weekend to say goodbye. He is a very sweet older gentleman who has a heart of gold. Jeff was also wonderful and bought me the best pen. It is a giant push pen. I have a thing for push pens. Now I can write something and feel like a giant! We also bought soft chocolate chip cookies. I checked the calorie count and they are only 115 calories per cookie. So I don't feel to guilty if I only eat one cookie!  I hope you all are having a great weekend.

This really pissed me off..People these days..

First off,  like many people I am  just shocked that someone could use someone else's words in their book. Then have the book published. Then I find out today there might be more than one person who has done this. Wow how lazy and stupid can people be? I hope this person gets sued. They ripped off two different authors in two different books. I am not just talking about a line or two. I am talking about full paragraphs! One section looked like it was more than a full page. How lazy and greedy can you be to steal someone else's work? I can't write to save my life, but to steal is just wrong! On a second note, I am really PISSED OFF! An author asked people to ask her questions. I asked her what is her favorite color. She said green. Someone else asked her why did she _______. Which pretty much gave away the ending of this book! I don't want to read it now. You have to understand, I don't forget things like that! The book in on my nightstand! I am now going to return it and go get another of her books. I wish people would think before they do things! I sure hope my day gets better. I hope you all have a good day! On a great note. I have a wonderful father! He is being very very sweet and paying my car registration for me!! Yeah!!! So now I will have more money for books for Naughty Mafia and money for more Toad the Wet Sproket T-shirts!! I am very happy about this!!

Working out,Arms and being bad with chips.

Today I did level 2 of a Jillian Michaels 30 minute dvd. The way I look at it, I am sweating like I am made of water. I am pushing myself. So why the heck should I do over an hour? Sometimes, I do like to do more then 30 minutes. Today was NOT one of those days. On another note, my arms are looking really good. I can see some great definition. It has been a very slow process. It will probably still be a slow process. I am fine with that. I have a major love/hate affair with salt and sugar. Probably more with salt. I love kettle potato chips. I think I had about 15 today. I know I was bad I did not count. I will push myself more tomorrow to make up for those chips. I also LOVE hot peppers. Those are on my diet plan. I have heard and red that hot peppers are good to boost your metabolism. So I try to eat them everyday if I can. I guess you can say I am spicy. ;) I am knitting myself a new beret. It is a light powder blue. It is a new pattern. I have not knitted something for myself in awhile. I love knitting for friends, family and charity.  I just wanted to knit this beret. I am not sure when I can wear it. I am sure it will not work on our Vegas trip in August. Since it is going to be in the teens if not worse. So I will have to wait until it gets colder to wear it.

Restore My Heart by Chelsea Camaron- Book review

Restore My Heart by Chelsea Cameron is a Contemporary Romance novel.
Dina has been in a horrible relationship and gets hurt in so many different ways. Ryder comes in and seems to be like a savior.
Ryder is a player he owns a garage and restores vintage cars.Ryder is learning that being a player is not all it is cracked up to be. Especially when someone from his past is getting in the way of what could be a future with Dina.  Dina is still dealing with her parents death and is reserved with her feelings.

I enjoyed the angst between Ryder and Dina as they deal with their feelings for each other. Can these two people trust one another?
I give this book 5 stars! I also loved book #2 which is Savaged that continues the story of Maggie and Bryden. Dina and Ryder's best friends and business partners. I hope you love these books as much as I do. I can't wait to read more from this wonderful writer Chelsea Camaron.

Having fun today with some of our oldest "children"

As you know Jeff and I can't have real babies. So our dolls are our children. Today we took Vanessa Adina aka Nessa and our son Lindsey Roddy out for some quality time. Vanessa Adina and Lindsey Roddy I guess you could say are twins. They were "Adopted" on the same day. They both have brown or reddish hair and brown eyes. They are Cabbage Patch dolls. Jeff and I went and had breakfast at the Harborside restaurant. That is on the Balboa Peninsula. I don't think the heavy food of yummy crepes and eggs benedict agreed with us. We got headaches later on in the afternoon and had to take a nap. After we had breakfast, Jeff and I went over to our local AAA Automobile club to take to them about our big vacation. I have decided that we are going to go to Florida in mid January to celebrate my Big number birthday!! No I wont tell you which one it is. Guess! :) Hints are in previous blog posts, so you should know if you are a faithful reader. :) We were supposed to go almost 3 years ago, but did not. This is one of the places I want to go to on my bucket list. The other three are Italy to see the Trevi Fountain, Prince Edward Island in Canada since I am a huge Anne of Green Gables fan! Oh and the other one is Australia. It is going to cost some coin so to speak, but Jeff owes me big time! So he better come threw or else!!! When we were at AAA we also got discount movie tickets! After that we promised Vanessa Adina and Lindsey Roddy that we were going to take them to get new outfits! They are our oldest Cabbage Patch Kids. Let's just say Vanessa was bouncing off the wall for over a week, since I told her about this! We went to a mall first that did not have a Build a Bear, then we ended up at Downtown Disney. To say they got spoiled is an understatement. Vanessa got a cute little outfit that has Gwen Stefani's little dolls all over it. She also got a outfit that has Spongebob on it. It is so cute. The yellow t shirt has Spongebob on it. The shorts or lounge pants ( Vanessa says they are shorts) have Spongebob's face all over them. Lindsey Roddy got a pair of blue jeans with a dinosaur and a hanging chain from them. He says the chain makes him feel tough! The shirt is red black and white plaid with little dinosaurs on it. He also got a nice pair of plaid shorts and a white t-shirt with a dinosaur on it for Vegas. He wants to look cool and feel cool. The total came to over $75 dollars!! Vanessa could not leave without the cute doll head bag and hair bows to finish off her Gwen Sefani outfit. I thought the funniest thing was the "twins" are older then the people that were helping us. The two women helping us were 20 and 26. I started laughing when I told them that Vanessa Adina and Lindsey Roddy were 29 years old. Tonight to make their day even better Jeff and I are taking them to see Monsters University. On a sad note. We got to see Tom our favorite Downtown Disney worker and he is retiring. Good thing we went today. He told us next weekend is his last to be at Disney. So we are going to go there next weekend to say goodbye. He is a sweet man and it's funny when he calls me his girlfriend. Tom is old enough to be my grandfather. That is all for today. Have a good weekend!

SYNOPSIS:

If Forever Comes, the final chapter in the New York Times Bestselling Regret Series (Lost to You and Take This Regret).
Christian Davison’s life is complete. With a ring on Elizabeth’s finger and his daughter at his side, he’s ready to run headlong into their future.
Elizabeth Ayers never believed she would again find this kind of joy—the joy of a family and the wholeness found in the touch of the man she’s always loved.
Their love is intense and their passion only grows as they set out to rediscover each other.
But life is never easy.
Rocked by the unforeseen, Christian and Elizabeth will find themselves fighting for the one thing they hold most important—family

EXCERPT:

I stood in the hush of the darkened room, the long drapes pushed to the side as I leaned with one hand pressed to the wall just at the side of the window. I stared out, watching as winter pressed down on the city. Snowflakes fluttered toward the ground as they were set free from the inky sky. Through the haze, lights glimmered, and far below, the city was still alive even though night had grown late.
My past seemed to echo from the streets, the memories so thick they almost seemed alive.
I looked over my shoulder and let my eyes wander over the one who inhabited them all.
Elizabeth lay facing me, twisted just to the side, her blonde hair spread out over the pillow where she rested her head. Her chest lifted and fell in a slow cadence, her soft breaths released into the air.
The deepest kind of devotion quickened my heart and pumped fiercely through my veins.
Sometimes it was hard to believe we’d come this far, that this beautiful girl lying across the room from me had been strong enough to forgive me for the greatest mistake I’d ever made, that she was good enough to look past my failure, and that she had the capacity to lie there now, lost in sleep, free of fear and full of love.
A wistful smile tugged at my mouth as my gaze traveled over her perfect body. She wore a short nightgown, the creamy material bunched up over her hip, the length of her legs fully exposed. One arm was draped over her head, and the other was stretched across the sheets in the spot where I had held her in my arms as she’d fallen asleep.
Emotion squeezed my lungs, knocked at my ribs, just as strong as the desire that lifted in a crushing swell before it settled as a subdued ache in the pit of my stomach.
Elizabeth would never stop stealing my breath.
Only because she possessed my soul.
As if she felt the intensity of my stare, she stirred. Those brown eyes blinked open as she adjusted to the dimness in the room. A soft, sleepy smile crept to her lips when she found me watching her in the shadows. She ran her hand over the sheets on my side of the bed. “What are you doing way over there when you’re supposed to be in bed with me?” she whispered.
“Just thinking.”
She lifted up onto her elbow. “And what are you thinking about?”
My mouth tipped up in a slow grin as I made my way over to her. She rolled onto her back just as I crawled over her,
bracing myself on my hands and knees.
“Thinking about you. What else would I be thinking about?” I trailed the back of my index finger down her cheek and along the underside of her jaw. At her chin, I twisted my hand to drag my fingers all the way down her neck to the cleft between her breasts.
A soft breath parted her lips.
“You consume me, Elizabeth,” I said. “Every second.”
Trembling, she reached up to cup my jaw. “Always.”
That word shot straight through me, her touch a firestorm that singed me from the inside out.
And she had it right. I wanted her. Always.
I pressed my hands into the bed on either side of her head, dipped to caress her mouth with mine in the same second her fingers wove through my hair. I could feel her heart hammering, pounding just as hard as mine, this thrum of need spinning through us with the slightest touch.
It’d always been that way.
Always.
I rocked and Elizabeth moaned, our bodies pitching and lifting and seeking, the soft skin of her inner thighs like strokes of fire as they brushed against mine. Our tongues caressed and every last inch of my body hardened. God, there was nothing in this world that felt so good.
I pulled back, one hand gripping the fabric at her hip as I searched her face.
“Elizabeth, I don’t want to wait. I know that’s what we planned, but being here, in this city, it just makes me think of all the time I wasted, and I don’t want to waste any more.”
Shock rolled through her, and brown eyes snapped up to lock on mine. “What do you mean?”
“All of it, Elizabeth…waiting to get married…waiting to add to our family. I want it all…and now…because I want it with you.”
“Christian—”
“Don’t say anything now. I just want you to think about it.”
She grabbed my face. “I don’t need to think about it. I’m ready for this. Ready for us to move on.”
Relief and joy escaped me in a throaty groan. It was all I wanted, to spend my life with her, to spend it with our daughter, to live for my family, to watch grow.
“Oh my God, Elizabeth.” I dropped to my elbows, brought us closer, our kiss frenzied between our words.
“Christian.”
“I love you so much…so much.”
I sucked at her bottom lip, kiss her at the edge of her perfect mouth, dropped to feast along the line of her jaw.
My nose got lost behind her ear, in her hair, in the softness of her skin.
I burned.
Elizabeth arched, silently begged.
I rose to one elbow and grabbed her left hand, kissed the ring she allowed me to place on her finger. “Forever,” I promised against it.
Her heart thudded a little more. “Forever,” she said.
And I couldn’t wait for forever to begin.

There needs to be more than 24 hours in a day!

I am starting to think there needs to be more than 24 hours in a day. Is it me or the older we get the more we have to do and the less time we have to do it? I also would love to be able to be in two places at once. I know we don't have time machines and I forgot what country said that Time Travel is not possible. I think it was China or Japan that said this. Then again who knows maybe in like 50 Centuries from now it can really happen. We won't be here but it might happen in the future. I would love to be able to knit, and read at the same time. I just can't since I need to hold the book or in this case my Kindle. Yes, I know I don't like Kindle/Ebooks. In this case I could only get this book on Kindle. I am happy thought I think fingers crossed I have been able to figure out the beret pattern I am working on. It has a very difficult pattern. Jeff was sweet and wrote it out. So we shall see in a few weeks. I want to take my time on this beret. It's for my dear friend Erika. I can't wait to make her one out of the hot pink verigated yarn I got her. Have a great day everyone!

This is Who I Am by Cherise Sinclair - Book review

This Is Who I Am is the seventh book in the Masters of the Shadowlands series by Cherise Sinclair and an erotic romance novel.

Linda, freed from the slavers, wants to return home and be normal with her quiet life. Yet, she bounces between wanting to return to a normal life and she won't even admit she's a masochist. Unfortunately, to add to her complications, trouble follows her. Sam, her rescuer and a sadist, keeps in contact with her due to his attraction. Can she trust him after all she's been through?

This is steamy and wonderfully written with amazing BDSM and sex scenes. I loved how we got to see many sides of Sam. He is a Dom, and a Sadist. I love Cherise Sinclair's books. She is one of my favorite writers. I give this book 5 stars. I can't wait for the next book in this amazing series. If you have not read her Club Shadowlands series I recommend it! Especially if you love BDSM books!

I'm so EXCITED!! OMG OMG!!

Why am I so excited? I will tell you why I am so excited!! Jeff really came through this time!! My favorite group of all time, I mean in the world is Toad the Wet Sprocket!! They are a band from the late 80's early 90's. They are I would say light rock, some edge, not really ballads. I fell in love with this group in the beginning of High School. Yes, I am showing my age. LOL... I have all of their albums and I played them on the last trip to Las Vegas. Jeff got us tickets to see them at the end of summer in concert!! To say I am excited is really an understatement. I know they will probably playing songs from their new album that will be coming out. I can't wait to hear more. I have already heard one song. I also really hope that they have T-Shirts to buy!! I really would love another T-Shirt. I have one, but it is old and only says TTWS on it. I want one with the full name. I got to see them in Concert in Las Vegas about 12 or 13 years ago, maybe more. I really don't remember at this point in time. I am just over the moon right now!!

I am really starting to Hate Technology!

I am really starting to HATE Technology. I am old school when it comes to certain things. I like going into a bank and talking to a teller. I enjoy making a phone call and chatting to someone as supposed to texting. The major thing about today's Technology I am REALLY Hating right now is my Kindle!! Yes, there I said it! I should probably tell you all why. I can't figure out how to download the damn books to my kindle!! It will not just drop into my kindle. I have to figure out how to put it in about 3 different places to get it into my kindle!! Are you F----ing kidding me!! Guess what everyone, you don't have to do that with a paperback!! The worst thing that happens with a paperback is I lose it, or it gets ruined!! I now have to wait until Jeff to get home to download the next book, I want to read/review. For my blog after the book I am reading on my kindle. I promised the author I would read and review it awhile back. I like keeping my word. I think more people should start doing that in this day and age. I am a slow reader, so waiting until Jeff gets home around 7:00 PM to help is frustrating!! I downloaded books once, and I think that was a flouck. I am going to go back to doing laundry and hopefully finish up the book I am reading now. Later today I am going to work on Erika's gray beret I am knitting her. I want to get that to her in the next few weeks. So I am hoping for a productive day! Talk to you guys more later!

Relaxing Saturday with my Fuzzy....AKA Jeff

Today was a relaxing Saturday. I have to say we didn't do very much today. We went out for a big breakfast. I got some waffles and Jeff indulged in some sourdough french toast. I have to admit today was NOT a diet day. We indulged a bit to much when it came to food today. Our "Son" Peter is going out on a date. (Our 37 year old upstairs neighbor) I love how he leaves his phone at home. I have a feeling that he would be afraid if I called or Text in the middle of the date. Fuzzy aka Jeff was teasing me about this fact. I found out from Peter and this woman that they would be out for about 3 hours. I said hello to her, and told her I was his "Mother" in air quotes. From meeting her for about a minute or two. I have a good feeling about this woman. She shook my hand, was very polite, had a smile on her face and was from what I could tell sweet. I want our "Son" to find a nice girl. I will get the details later either tonight or tomorrow. Peter already knows, he is going to get grilled. So he might as well just tell us. I also told him, to get his "Father" Jeff a father's day card. I am working on a beret for my friend Erika's Daughter Atara. I thought it was very sweet of Atara to ask for a beret in pink or purple.I had some pretty purple yarn. So I hope she likes the purple. I am also doing cables. I don't do them very often so I hope they come out alright. I am also going to knit Erika a gray beret hopefully later this week. I enjoy making hats for people I love. My Aunt Sue texted me today and told me that the headrest covers arrived safely and that she will post pictures of them on the mini cooper soon. All and all I would say today was a good day. I hope to post a book review soon. Sorry I am a very slow reader so it takes me sometimes two weeks to finish a book. I hope you guys have a good Saturday night. Hope to write more tomorrow.

Great day yesterday but geez I'm still tired!

Yesterday I told myself I was going to get things done. I went and bought myself those cute black and gold shiny Bob's shoes. I think I told you I had a $10 coupon. So they were not as expensive. I refuse to pay more then about $45.00 for a pair of shoes. I know some women have a major thing about shoes. I mostly just want something that will absorb the pain. I then forgot about my other errands until I was about 3 blocks from the house. I then turned around and was happy I got a bit lost. It took me to AAA the auto club that helps with roadside assistance. I needed to renew my membership. It isn't due until mid August. I wanted to pay it now since we are going out of town in August. I wanted to pay my car registration, but was told I have to wait until late July. The paperwork is not available to tell me the total I have to pay for my new tags. So at least I have one last bill to give them now. I also took a trip to Walmart. I wanted to get a set of twin sheets and a $20 gift card for a returning soldier coming back from Afghanistan. ( That is what I was told they needed.) Once that was finished I set them off to Fort Hood in Texas. I hope they make it there by the cut off date of the 17th of this month. When I got home, I was really tired. I decided to watch some of my soaps online to catch up with what is happening on All My Children. Now it is only on two days a week, so it's easy to watch both episodes in less than an hour. I am not sure what today will hold, but I feel great after yesterday. Have a great day everyone!!!

Shoes.....

I have never been a shoe horse. I think that is the expression. Someone who loves shoes. I just got rid of two pairs that I had for 8 years. Yes, 8 years. I bought these two pairs before Jeff and I started dating. To say they were filthy is being nice. They were so gross looking. Of course Jeff goes, are you sure you need to get rid of them? OMG yes, I had to get rid of them. They were caked with black dirt on the inside. Not to mention what they looked like on the outside! I decided one day when we were out for dinner to stop in at the DSW store in the mall. I ended up with two cute pairs of shoes. One tan, pink and gray sandals. The other is a pair of cute dark gray and silver Bob's. These Bob's are amazing! I wore them all the time while we were in Vegas. I have very bad feet. Not only are my feet narrow, they are also flat. I mean really flat on the bottom. I have NO cushion at all. I feel the ground hard. So when I found these amazing Bob's shoes made my Sketchers I have to say I fell in LOVE. I am going to buy at least one more pair today. I am only going to do this, because DSW sent me a $10 coupon. I am not sure but if they have cute one's in another color besides the black and silver ones. I have a feeling they might be coming home with me. I think I now own 5 or 6 pairs of shoes. The two I just talked about a pair of gym shoes I workout in. A pair of gym shoes I wear out if Jeff and I are running errands and a pair of very painful high heels. My feet can NOT handle high heels. I only got them for special events. IE I will be wearing them for the Naughty Mafia welcome party on Friday night in August. I have a feeling Jeff and I will have my shiny Bob's in the car! My feet can only handle so much torture! How many pairs of shoes do you own????

When We Collide by A.L. Jackson - Book review

When We Collide by A.L. Jackson is a Contemporary Romance novel.

William returns to his hometown after six years away. While dealing with family issues, he runs into his old flame Maggie and he starts finding out Maggie has been hiding things from him and also herself. Maggie is not sure if she can trust William with her heart. Maggie has her own issues, primarily if she can trust him after William was away for so long. Can William come back home and realize that what he left so long ago is what he has needs. I enjoyed the family interactions and love that came through with the characters trying to strive for something better. This book is a heartfelt look at love and trust. It made me cry. I wanted to yell at Maggie and tell her yes, William is one of the good guys! If you love a good cry, wonderful hero and a sweet heartwarming ending this is the book for you. I give it 5 stars. I have NOT cried over a book in a while. This one had me grabbing for the tissues so often, I should invest in Kleenex stock! I will be recommending this book to everyone!!! I want to read more about these characters!! I think this is my new favorite couple by A.L. Jackson!

What happens in Vegas goes in my blog!

Had an amazing time in Las Vegas! We got to spend a nice evening with Uncle Larry and Aunt Sue. They were very sweet and cooked us a wonderful bbq meal. Jeff had so much fun in the swimming pool. I forgot to give them the seat covers for the mini cooper. I am going to put them in the mail. Jeff and I stayed at the New York New York for the first time. I have never stayed there before. I recommend staying here. Most of the staff is wonderful. I had a real douche bag of a dealer Sunday night named Jesse. Other then him, everyone was very kind and helpful. The house cleaning staff and baggage people are very kind. I stocked up on soap! We found a new soap store just by accident! It is in Monte Carlo it is called L'Core Luxury Cosmetics. We also went to several candy stores around town. I think our favorites are Lick in Monte Carlo and Sugar in Venetian. I have a major thing for candy. It is not good for my figure or my teeth, but you only live once. We did a ton of walking when we were there. I am talking over 5-8 miles a day! We found a few more slots machines that we like. We really liked the Wizard of Oz penny slots. I seemed to not have any luck this trip money wise. This is why we go shopping first as soon as we get to Vegas!! So I don't feel horrible for losing so much money when we leave. Jeff was so sweet and bought me a ton of yarn! Now most of it is NOT for me. I am very low of chemo hat yarn. So I wanted to make sure my stash was replenished. Tomorrow I will probably be organizing! I think my feet held up so much better then they normally do. I have really bad feet. They are narrow and flat on the bottom. So I have no cushion at all. I think I found the perfect walking shoes! They are called Bob's. They are made by Skechers. I am hoping to get another pair next month in another color. The ones I have now are a dark gray silver. I loved the fact I got to take two baths. I don't have a bath tub at our apartment. So I got to use some of my bath bombs. We really wanted to get all the fun shopping done this trip, since next time we go will be in August for Naughty Mafia!! I am counting down the days for that trip!! It is 67 days from today!!! I can't handle more than 2 days in Vegas. I guess it is because I am older now and even if I get Manic in Vegas, I get worn down faster. I will write more tomorrow. I probably forgot a few things, so if I did, I will put it in another blog post!

Got my hair done.... getting ready for Vegas.

I went and saw Jaime to get my hair colored for Vegas. This is something I do before a Vegas trip. Don't ask me why, I really don't know. It just works out that I need a touch up by that time. We decided that I should do something funky. I am sort of in a rut about life, so I needed to do something! So why not put bright/bubble gum pink color stripes in my hair. I am not sure if I like it yet. I think I will have to let it grow on me. The nice thing is that Peter says it makes me look younger. That always makes me happy. Baby Sarah and Baby Katie are going to spend the weekend with their Uncle Peter and his sister. If you are wondering who Baby Sarah and Baby Katie are, they are my oldest baby dolls. They are my "children". I have had them since I was 6 and 7 years old. As you know, or don't know. Jeff and I can not have children. We had a failed IVF earlier in the year. Some people are not blessed enough to have children. We are one of those couples. Anyways, two of my oldest "girls" are going to be hanging out with their uncle and aunt. I hope they don't get into any trouble. I don't like leaving them, but they can't go with us. I am really hoping that the drive is not going to be a hard drive. I don't have cruise control on my car anymore. I was told by someone who just got back from Vegas that it is very crowded now. Then again, it is summer and high season. As long as we can do some gambling and do a bit of shopping I will be happy. I already have a ton of yarn on hold at Sin City Yarn Shop. It's a newer yarn store. They are very nice and have a really nice selection of yarn. I also am going to stock up on more soap. Our soap stash is running very low. I have several places that we like to get soap from in Vegas. Then again, I am not sure if Jeff really cares about soap or not. I think he enjoys the scents but refuses to actually let me know he likes them. I guess it is a guy thing. I just hope we have a nice weekend and forget about anything majorly happening in the world. If I don't write until Tuesday, have a good weekend!

Knitting, laundry and getting excited....

I am determined to finish the green afghan I am making for the bed today. I have two more skeins or "balls" of yarn to go. I have more yarn if I need it, but have decided to use only two more. I also am going to wash my new clothes for our fun Las Vegas weekend. I am looking forward to finally riding the roller coaster at NYNY hotel and casino. I have never been on it. I have been to Vegas a ton of times since it has been open. I just have never either wanted to spend the money or found the time to go on it. So this trip Jeff and I are going to ride it! We have already planned on where we are going. We have certain places we always go to. I can't wait to wear my two different pairs of shoes. I am saving them for Vegas. I know lame, but I want to wear their cute shoes there. I am not sure if I want to spend money and get my toes and nails polished before this trip. I could save the money and try to polish them myself. They are not going to look very good, but at least it wont cost me over $30 plus tip. Which is the going rate around Southern California. Sometimes, it is even more then that. Depending on where you go to get your nails polished. I am getting my hair done tomorrow. It has been way to long. I am not sure if I want to put fushia in my hair this time. I am going to see if we can put light pink in. It might be fun to have that much of a difference. Or else I am going to just keep it one color. Talk to you all more later!! Feel free to leave comments, or tell me where you are all from!!

Dreams, wow are they screaming lately to me...

I woke up this morning and actually remembered my dream. A pretty vivid dream. I usually forget everything in my dreams. I dreamed that I was asked to watch a dog. One of those shiny silver dogs that have big brown eyes and a cut tail. Don't ask me the type because I don't know and don't really care. I thought this was very weird since guess what guys, in real life dogs scare the shit out of me. Yes I swore. I hate dogs! Back to the dream, I said sure to this woman. I will watch your dog. Almost as soon as the woman left, the door bell rang. I opened the door. Sure enough the dog goes running, I mean running! I try to go after it, losing it in the streets. During my chase, I run into of all people Seth Rogen. I find him very funny. We end up talking and having dinner. Why I was having dinner with Seth Rogen I have not a clue in the world. He asks me if I wanted to go back to his place. Then I remember duh, I lost the dog. I finally give up and go home.Who is there waiting for me but the silver shiny dog. I decided to check my phone dream app. It says that a dog in a dream might be a symbol for a man in my life. I am not worried about Jeff running away and then coming back. I don't think Jeff wants to go anywhere. I have to beg him to go on a road trip to Vegas, or even a car ride up PCH. Not to mention Jeff has blue eyes. :) So I am wondering if this is just a weird dream or not. We have a strong relationship after many years of understanding each other. We like all couples are trying to build a relationship one day at a time. Love and Rome were not built in a day.

Manic Monday.... Some fresh air...

Today to quote one of my favorite groups was a Manic Monday... That is by the Bangles. I was up at our normal time. I had a load of wash in the washing machine before 7 am. Today I ended up with three loads of wash. I am trying to do wash at least twice a week. I am still doing 3 loads on Monday. After I put load number 3 in the dryer. It was almost 10 am. I decided that if I did another workout dvd I was going to pull my hair out. So I said, heck I have to run errands so I might as well kill two birds with one stone. I went on a walk today. I needed to get a few things at Ulta beauty Salon anyways. I was hungry since I had not eaten yet. So I stopped by Panera first. They made me a delicious and very healthy. Egg white, spinach, bacon and cheese breakfast sandwich. I also had a mocha. I was not totally awake yet. I needed the decaf mocha. I have cut down on my mocha's. Now it is really a rare thing for me to have one. I used to drink almost one or more a day. Now I might have one a month, unless we are out of town. Then I probably will have one a day while on vacation. After finishing breakfast I walked to Ulta beauty salon and picked up the few things I needed. I also splurged and got myself a nice covering makeup. Since even at the age of almost 40 years old. I will be hitting the big 40 in January. I still have acne. Which I think is a good thing. I really don't have wrinkles. I wear a spf sunblock 100 and moisturizer that also has spf in it. I then walked home after being at Ulta. I ended up doing 4.13 Miles, burned 373.4 calories and did 8735 steps!! So yes, today I feel like I am a rock star! It might not seem like a ton to you, but to me it's awesome!!!

Saw an amazing movie today!!

Jeff and I saw an amazing movie today. We don't go to the movies very often. Since most of the stuff out there is pretty much junk. We went to see the movie, "Now you see me". It had everything, great acting, suspense, car chases! One of the best casts in a long time. Michael Caine, and Morgan Freeman were amazing as always. I would tell everyone to go see this movie. I mean heck it has amazing magic in it. Who doesn't love magic??? I am going to buy this when it comes on DVD. Then I went to DSW and bought myself two new pairs of shoes. My normal walking around shoes are almost 8 years old and were past the point of being gross! I also wanted a cute new pair for our Vegas trip, so why not buy a dark and a light pair. Jeff did not want to buy a new pair of shoes. Maybe he might buy some shirts in Vegas. I will let you guys know.

Saturday....so far...

Today we set up my voice mail. The guy at the store asked me if I wanted it in Spanish. I said no, my dad would call and say "Why do you have your voice mail in Spanish? We don't speak Spanish. So I asked the guy if he could set it up in Yiddish. He just looked at me funny. :) I bought Jeff some new boxer shorts. One pair has planes on them. :) Peter is rebelling today. Not only is Peter ( our 37 year old "son" upstairs friend and neighbor.) Not wearing sunblock he is also NOT bringing his cell phone!!! What if he has an emergency? I might have to ground him later. Jeff is now snoring, and hopefully will be in a better mood after his nap.
