Sad to say... Our beloved fish Skeeter past away last night.

Our beloved fish Skeeter died last night. I had him for about two and a half years.Which as the fish guy told me, is a LONG time in the life of a gold fish. He was a wonderful and sweet gold fish. He was orange and thin. He grew to be very long. He was with me through one of the toughest times in my life. I will never forget my baby Skeeter.  Sadly he ended up getting a case of bloat about a week ago. Jeff and I tried everything, peas, medician, and changing out some of the water every night. He hung on for about a week and past last night. I have cried for hours. He was my little fish son. I didn't want our little girl Scooter to be lonely. So today I went out and got Scooter three new siblings. One is round and orange. The second is small and white with the cutest little puckered mouth. The third is a orange fish with brown around all of his fins. I was not to sure about him, but he is calm and sweet. I think he will bring a zen to the tank. I am waiting for Jeff to come home to name them. I have a feeling I will be keeping to the Muppets theme. Yes, Skeeter was the name of a Muppet, from the Muppet Babies Cartoon. I hope to post pictures soon.  . They will just be in my heart in a new way. Hopefully be good company for my sweet little girl fish Scooter.
