How did you celebrate your 4th?

How did you celebrate your 4th of July. Jeff and I went shopping. Yes, I know not a patriotic way of celebrating. I did think a lot about the troops that are still serving and those who have served. I hope that they got to enjoy this great holiday. I do think this is one of my favorite holidays. I do feel lucky to be able to live in such a great country. Jeff and I bbq'd some steaks. Jeff looked very sexy lighting the grill and grilling the steaks. I love when he does very manly things like this.  I know Dr. Oz would not of been happy with me. Dr. Oz says you should only have meet on the weekend. I have a feeling he would be ok with it being a holiday. I have to start cutting back on meat in general. I seem to be eating it a bit to often lately. I know it affects me. So I will be going back to chicken and veggies again.  I got a new purse that I have to say in all honesty is really a backpack, but it works for all of my stuff. We did not do anything like fireworks. Loud noises scare me. So we just spent the night in watching tv and relaxing. I really enjoyed our afternoon nap. Of course he tried to take my cuddle pillow. I made sure I got it back. :) I hope you enjoyed your forth as much as Jeff and I did.
