The Best Laid Plans by Renee Peterson is a new-adult book that I loved.
The book has a well written plot with mystery, intrigue, and suspense from chapter to chapter. The characters have smooth interaction and a heat develops between Lacy, a college student, and Beaux, a bar owner.
With both Lacy and Beaux getting over hurtful relationships, I enjoyed how the trust develops between them. Yet, will the family's sorted past add too much drama and get in the way? I will be recommending this book to anyone I see. It is a great love story with everything you could want in a good romance. I give it 5 stars!!!
